Our client, a large-scale company, is seeking an IT Network and Communications Administrator.

Responsibilities:


- Responsible for installing and maintaining the company’s Network infrastructure (including LAN, WAN, Cloud, and CallManager).
- Participate in the implementation of any design and development projects that require networking change.
- Operates as an executor in the networking area, providing mentoring and subject matter expertise on the Network.
- Participates, recommends and implements innovative infrastructure technology that can enhance the reliability, security, productivity, and efficiency of the IT infrastructure.
- Serves as a working executor on projects, providing technical assistance to others. Execute project activities including assigning and ensuring the completion of tasks.
- Responds to Help Desk requests as Level 2 support for network (offices), for more complex incident related to network and phone systems by answering questions and resolving problems.
- Provide mentoring to Level 1 helpdesk analyst
- Keep documentation updated on the Network infrastructure.
- Manage, monitor and maintain the IT Communications platforms: Cisco Call Manager, Mobile Telephony, Cisco Telepresence, WebEx, Microsoft Teams, MDM.
- Perform troubleshooting and fix IT related issues.
- Enter and manage support requests in ticketing system, and update statuses clearly, document troubleshooting steps and solution(s), and completely on a timely basis.
- Provide general support for: desktop and software, iPhones, office equipment (land line phones, video conferencing, etc.).
- Perform hardware/software installations and upgrades based on IT Strategy. (For Communications related platforms).
- Participate in IT Infrastructure related tasks and projects.
- Research software and IT technologies; provide recommendations for improvements to the IT Communication Infrastructure.
- Create, maintain and execute IT procedures.
- Interfaces with business stakeholders on projects.
- As a backup for Helpdesk team, provide tier 1 and tier 2 level support to end-users, in-person at their desks or remotely for hardware, software and business application needs.
- Manage IT Communication related vendors and service providers.
- Best effort off-hour support unless coordinated in advance.

Skills Required:


- A minimum of 3 years of experience in supporting of significant Network infrastructure projects, including participation in the execution.
- College’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
- Cisco CCNA certification, MCSE, ITIL are a plus.
- Knowledge of communications platforms and Microsoft products: Cisco Call Manager, mobile (iPhone), WebEx, Cisco Videoconferencing, and Office 365.
- Experience in Network Operations, Network Infrastructure.
- Experience in Cisco Network routers, switches, access points and firewalls.
- Strong networking troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in Cisco Call Manager administration.
- Knowledges of Windows Servers, Systems Administration and MDM solution.
- Broad knowledge of infrastructure systems technologies/services : IP telephony, Video Conferencing, Networking, Mobile phones (iOS).
- Thrives on problem solving and actively seeks out and supports collaborative thinking and problem solving with others in the organization.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, ability to adjust personal style to different user group.
